Yesterday, me and my wife visited our good friend Susan (owner of Menehune Mac) and Jana. Since I haven't been to their store, I took my camera with me to take pictures of their samples. To my surprise, their store is HUGE. Inside, you will find different samples of chocolates made in Hawaii and different varieties of wedding favors. Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers out there specially to the greatest, bestest (is this a word?...haha), loving Mom ever....my Mom. After taking Joe Buissink's class in WPPI, we all decided to take group pictures. One of my classmate volunteered to take it first. The first try, his flash was turned off. Second try, sorry wrong exposure. Third, fourth try, still didn't get it right. Finally, the fifth time he tried it again, this was Joe's reaction.....lol. You can pretty much tell what happen. By the way, I took this picture with my old Canon S50 point & shoot camera.

Happy New Year everybody and Happy Birthday to me. That's right, I'm a New Year baby...haha. WOW, I can't believe its 2009 and 2008 is now history!!! Time surely flies.
As I welcome 2009, I have a lot of things going on for this year. In a couple of weeks, I will be at the Bridal Expo in Blaisdell Arena between January 16-18....so come stop by and say HI. On February 11-19, I will be in Las Vegas for the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) convention. If you happen to be there, specially on Joe Buissink's class, I would like to meet you in person. Don't worry, I don't bite.....hard. One of the coolest wedding I've seen was Floris & Brad's wedding. It was so cool that they hired a hypnotist to be part of their reception program. As you can see, some of the guests were hypnotized. Check out one of the bridesmaid jumped so high to kill the cockroach...that's what she thought.

Me & my wife got bored one night and started playing around with our camera. Our idea was to create interesting pattern of lights. We set our camera to Manual mode, 100 ISO, f/5.6, 30 seconds exposure and small flash light. Check out the art of light.
